vcycled − Vcycle daemon

SYNOPSIS

vcycled

DESCRIPTION

vcycled is a daemon which implements VM lifecycle management on IaaS Cloud systems in a way inspired by Vac.

CONFIGURATION FILES

See vcycle.conf(5) for a description of the file format and required options. The vcycle daemon rereads the configuration files at the start of each cycle - roughly once every 60 seconds. It is not necessary to restart the daemon after changing the configuration.

LOG FILES

The daemon writes logging information to /var/log/vcycled
