High Level Schedule

• LHC commissioning appears to be on track - first collisions have been seen in the detectors.
• GRIDPP Review of RAL Tier-1 14 December

Disaster Management

• Multiple RAID Array failures. Likely cause identified. Plan to re-certify EMC hardware for move back on 5th January.
• Disk deployment ongoing testing with Viglen. Still problems with hardware, and recently tested solutions have failed acceptance.

Viglen have provided a recovery plan.

Purchasing and Finance

• Disk tender at standstill. Final negotiations - orders just about to be placed.
• CPU tender suppliers selected - at standstill
• Spend plan plan finalised.
