Are you a member of a Regional VO?
TEST: You are listed as a user of one or more of the LondonGrid, NorthGrid, ScotGrid, and SouthGrid VOs (click on the links to see the user lists for each VO).
What is a Regional VO?
For the purposes of getting started quickly, GridPP has set up a number of Regional Virtual Organisations (VOs) that new users can join based on their location in the UK (i.e. the sites to which they geographically are closest).
Why should I join a Regional VO?
The Regional VOs offer new users the chance to test out grid technology without having to create their own VO. Creating a VO requires some effort, so it's a good way to try before you buy (in).
