Operations News

  • Repack instance upgraded to Castor 2.1.12-10, under functional tests now
  • Certificate renewed for lcgcc248 machine which is used to generate gridmap-files for production machines
  • Bug in CIP has been identified which was effecting online accounting information. The fix will be rolled out sometime between 28-31 September.

Operations Problems

  • Ongoing Biomed problem with failing SAM tests, still liaise with Biomed to resolve this problem

  • Test and certify 2.1.12-10 (Matthew, Chris)

Interventions

  • Upgrade to 2.1.12 on Tier1 instances once we are happy with TM and TG in performance (Sep)
    • INFO from LHCb: The reprocessing starts on 20th September, so any Castor intervention should be scheduled before that time. The exact date still to be confirmed with LHCb
