Adding things to the CE configuration and its information system

Updating VOs on CE

• Install updates but exclude perl-DBD-Mysql (see Savannah Bug 17179 for reasons)
• Update site-info.def for new VOS
• Run YAIM : configure_node <site-info.def> CE
• Stop and chkconfig off following services: bdii gridice-mds gridice_daemons edg-fmon-agent rgma-gin

Adding queues

• Ask Fabric team to add queue to scheduler
• Add queues to tier1-yaim-config site-info.def and release new rpm
• Install the new rpm
• Then follow procedure in #Updating VOs on CE

Making an SE a Close SE to a CE

(Assuming the SE has an information provider already) (This only applies if the SE is not listed in the SE_LIST variable in site-info.def)

On the CE

• Edit /opt/lcg/var/gip/lcg-info-static-cesebind.conf
  • For each appropriate queue (S queue + vo specific queues) add under dn: GlueCESEBindGroupCEUniqueID=<CE Id>:2119/jobmanager-lcgpbs-<queue, as above>

    GlueCESEBindGroupSEUniqueID: <new-se-hostname>

• • Then at the end of the file add

 dn: GlueCESEBindSEUniqueID=<new-se-hostname>,GlueCESEBindGroupCEUniqueID=<CE Id>:2119/jobmanager-lcgpbs-<queue, as above>
 GlueCESEBindCEAccesspoint: <path from SE info provider minus vo name>
 GlueCESEBindCEUniqueID: <CE Id>:2119/jobmanager-lcgpbs-<queue as above>
 GlueCESEBindMountInfo: <path from SE info provider minus vo name>
