RAL Tier1 Production Team Report for 4th January 2010.

AoD This Week

Mon-Tues: John Wed: Gareth Thu-Fri: John

Last Week (21-24 December)

  • Gareth: AoD (1 day), Change Control, Review of Post Mortems, 1 day A/L.
  • John: Tested CRL update, blanked disk & powered off some old worker nodes, Copied Wiki, snowed in!
  • Tiju: AoD(3 days), Evaluated numbers of repeat callouts.

Changes to Operating procedures

  • None - but planning meeting for scheduling January changes on Thursday. Reminder to get changes into change control system.

Declared Outages in GOC DB

  • lcgvo0597 17/12 to 31/01 This SL4 VOBOX machine is being replaced by a SL5 VOBOX (lcgvo-alice). Created a long scheduled d/time and then will be removed from GOCDB.
  • Tomorrow (5th January): Outage for UPS bypass test.
