Last Week

  • Gareth: Some AoD, usual meetings plus those on Tier1 open day; Castor disk interventions.
  • John: AoD; Python Course
  • Tiju: AoD, Python Course

Changes to Operating procedures

  • Queue 'SUPPORT' in RT now also receives mail to support@gridpp.rl.ac.uk which used to go to FABRIC queue.
  • Castor disk server interventions. Change to ticket handling (reverting to old system). AoD included in daily 'review'.(Another review of this process is scheduled).

Declared Outages in GOC DB

  • lcglb01 is out (while Catalin away).
  • LFC outage delayed to Monday 27th - for Oracle backend re-configuration separating Atlas fron non-Atlas.

OtherOperation Notes

  • Tuesday 21st. 07:30 -10:30 approx. Move of SURE/Automation Point to R89
