Kernel upgrades

This procedure documents how an upgrade to the kernel was applied to all worker nodes (WNs) at Manchester.
- Mirror local repository to include the update needed.
- Put site in downtime in the GOCDB and disable queues.
- Update the kernel on all machines.
- Install the version specific kernel-module-afs (this also has the effect of updating openafs)
- Once all jobs have finished, reboot all machines.
- Check that all nodes have the correct kernel version installed.
- End downtime in GOCDB if neccesary and enable queues.
