RAL Tier1 Operations Report for 13th May 2019

Review of Issues during the week 5th May 2019 to the 13th May 2019.
  • We are seeing high outbound packet loss over IPv6. Central networking intend to perform a firmware update to the border routers (provisionally scheduled for Wednesday 22nd May).
  • On 7th May, LHCb finished their migration from Castor to Echo.
  • We have temporarily halted the setup of Tape for Dune while we bring the new Tape robot online.
  • CMS job failures were a result of incorrectly configured jobs trying to access all their data from a Finnish Tier-2.
