HOWTO

  1. Use gsissh to login to svr017.gla.scotgrid.ac.uk.
    1. You will need your DN to be recognised on this host - mail the T2C if necessary.
  2. From here, login to the gateway machine on the remote cluster.
    1. Keep a careful note of all steps you take.
  3. After an intervention has been performed, write a report to [1].

Operational Guidelines

  1. You are trusted to manage your own level of competence.
    1. Don't intervene unless you are certain you will not make the situation any worse.
  2. All interventions, no matter how small, should be reported to the tech discuss list.
