Operations News

  • Have decreased CASTOR overhead to 1% on 5 production disk servers. We will wait until they fill up and monitor them closely before rolling out the change to everything.
  • Problems were encountered testing 2.1.14-3. We have upgraded preprod to 2.1.14-5 and are restarting testing. All basic functional tests (inc. xrootd) works.
  • CASTOR stress testing has been successfully run with CONDOR instead of Torque/Maui
