RAL Tier1 Production Team Report for 12th April 2010.

  • We note the smooth running so far since the LHC started high energy collisions.
  • Note GridPP meeting this week - significant number of people away.

AoD This Week

Mon & Tues: John Wed & Thu: Tiju Fri: John

Last Two Week (29 March - 9 April)

  • All: Open Day - either giving a talk, providing tours, holding the fort. Plus Easter break.

Training on batch system, training on CMS monitoring.

  • Gareth: AoD (2 days), Preparations for GridPP meeting, Chasing issues on Tier1 phone.
  • John: Tour Guiding, disk deployment, fixing broken disk servers, migration queues, investigated other issues on nagios, tape errors.
  • Tiju: AoD (5+ days), Verified CACTI data sources, Added new Nagios callouts.

Changes to Operating procedures

  • None

Declared Outages in GOC DB

  • None

Advanced Warning

  • Fix glibc mismatch on OGMA database. Apply kernel & glibc updates to LUGH & SOMNUS.
  • Upgrade T10K drive microcode
