The "Skimming on the Grid" project aims to develop the tools used to manage the skimming of BaBar's data to be able to make use of the resources available on the grid.
Skimming produces preselected data samples for use by physicists, reducing the ammount of data they need to process and hence the resources they need to preform analyses.
