Subject: Tier1 Babar  - future MOU


The Budget proposed to the IFC in January included UK Tier A
commitments as follows:

CPUs are at 30 Specint 95 = 1 700 MHz CPU

Cost is in $K and includes an allowance for the phasing out and
replacement of old kit/

The figures up to and including 2005 are in the present MOU.
Beyond that is new.

So this is what the Babar management hope/expect to be provided for Babar
use.  If it is deemed excessive then we can negotiate downwards, but that
will cut our common fund rebate - Ken could comment on that.
